What Is The Crossplex?
The Crossplex is a 21,400 square foot multi-purpose, indoor facility and is conveniently located less than a mile from exit 9 of the Atlantic City Expressway and a central location across South Jersey. This facility contains our 14,000 square-foot ‘AstroTurf’ which is lined for Soccer, Football, Field Hockey, and Boys Lacrosse, in addition to our Media and E-Sports center, observatory, rock wall, and more! One of the biggest benefits of our Crossplex facility is that everything you need from the turf field to our rock wall is inside so you never have to worry about your event or tournament being canceled due to inclement weather!
What Events Are Held At The Crossplex?
Sports Leagues and Open Field
The Crossplex is home to a variety of sports leagues and open sessions. For the current season, we have sports league for a variety of age groups including our Youth Lacrosse for grades three through eight, Fall T-Ball for ages four through six, NFL Flag Football for ages five through twelve, 18+ Adult Soccer, and 40+ Adult Soccer. Our leagues run for about two months at a time but we have weekly open sessions for those looking for a no-commitment way to play. Our open sessions are co-ed with two sections available, one for ages seven to fourteen and one for ages eighteen and up.
Family Events & Little PAL’s
In addition to our sports leagues, we also have a variety of family-friendly events at the Crossplex throughout the month! We host events like Family Flag Football, Family Dodgeball Night, and Family Activities Day which usually feature games like dodgeball, soccer, volleyball, and kickball for the whole family to enjoy! During the school year, we also have a program for our youngest friends! Every Wednesday Little PAL’s open gym playtime is hosted in the Crossplex. Kids ages two through five can play various sports, jump on bouncers, and much more on our enclosed turf field.
Can I Rent Out The Crossplex?
You absolutely can! While we do throw a mean birthday party, that’s not all we do at the Crossplex. We have facility rentals available for practices, games, parties, corporate events, team building events, pre-season and post-season team gatherings, fundraising, tournaments, leagues, and much more. In addition to our facility itself, we have plenty to offer to make sure your event or party is the best it can be! We have go-kart rides, laser tag, inflatable bounce houses, STEM activities, projectors and screens, a warming kitchen, an outdoor pavilion, and of course tables and chairs. What Are Some Other Notable Features Of The Crossplex?
Observatory
We have a 14-inch Celestron HD Edge telescope under a fully automated 8-foot rotating ash dome on a 1,800-square-foot mezzanine and 400-square-foot observation deck that might just be the perfect backdrop for your special event. Our observatory is also utilized during our STEM programs like our program Buddy’s Stargazers.
Media and E-Sports Center
Our media center offers a state-of-the-art live streaming studio, iMac post-production editing station, the ability to record commercials for our local community, and a podcast studio that is currently under development. Our media center is also home to our media club which has a variety of ways to learn and interact with the media industry including television production, filming, and photography. In addition to our media services, our e-sports room is available for your events and is utilized during our programs such as summer camp and after care. Our e-sports room has four Xbox Series X consoles, five 58” flatscreen TVs, retro arcade game consoles with more than fifty classic games, and a state-of-the-art driving simulator.
