STEM Enrichment Workshop

The STEM Enrichment Workshop offers sessions designed to spark and grow student interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through hands-on, state-of-the-art learning experiences. Each workshop consists of 8 total sessions, meeting once per week on either Tuesdays or Thursdays, and is school-specific, with sessions designated for students from a particular school.

E-Sports Club is offered to select schools and meets between 5 – 6 PM each Tuesday and Thursday on workshop dates, providing students with a structured, supervised environment to build teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship through competitive gaming.

Workshop Details

• School-to-PAL Transportation Provided
  Workshop transportation is offered from surrounding Egg Harbor Township schools including Joyanne D Miller, Fernwood Avenue Middle School, Alder Avenue Middle School, Slaybaugh and Swift Complex, Atlantic Christian, and Davenport Elementary, directly to PAL, ensuring a smooth and reliable transition from classroom to workshop.

• Snack & Homework Help
  Students receive a healthy snack and structured homework support.

• Two Flexible Time Slots
  Workshop times are based on each school’s dismissal schedule.

• Esports Club for After Workshop! The E-Sports Club runs from 5 to 6 PM, giving students from select schools an engaging, supervised space to play, learn teamwork, and practice strategy after the regular workshop hours.

• STEM-Focused Learning
  Students get hands-on access to PAL’s state-of-the-art coding lab, where they learn:

  • Minecraft Coding

  • Build Your Own Drone
