SUMMER CAMP Head Counselors
The Egg Harbor Township Police Activities League (EHT PAL) is now accepting applications for full time Summer Camp Head Counselors (must be 18+) for our Summer Camp in EHT and Galloway. Head Counselors and Junior Counselors will work as a team to provide a safe, fun camp experience for all children. The ideal candidate will:

• Have a fun, energetic yet mature personality
• Have a desire to work with children in preschool through 9th grade
• Have good communication & organizational skills
• Have reliable transportation & a strong work ethic
• Be available to attend employee training (typically on a weekend or evening)
• Complete 10 hrs. State required training on line and be fingerprinted
• Must be available from June 20th through Sept 2nd, 2022

Summer Camp Director 
The Egg Harbor Township Police Activities League looking for an energetic and organized Summer Camp Director to join our team. The ideal candidate for this full-time position has a passion for working with children, is dedicated to providing the best education and care to students, works collaboratively, and wants to learn and grow.

Position Overview:
On-Site Camp Directors are responsible for overseeing all camp operations, instructors, campers, and JCIT’s at their respective location. Director will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and instruction of all camp activities in accordance with EHTPAL policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Helping camp families with questions, concerns, and requests
• Managing daily camper sign-in and pick-up procedures
• Like working in an outdoor learning environment
• Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Help supervise all-camp activities and special event.
• Report all injuries immediately and fill out appropriate forms.
• Managing staff and handling all disciplinary issues
• Following all rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures in the EHTPAL Handbook
• Being a positive role model for the campers and staff at all times
• Helping to provide the best quality camps possible, in an upbeat, positive, and inclusive manner

• College education required
• Ability to complete 10 hrs. on line training prior to the start of summer
• Must have previous experience working with children
• Previous camp experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Supervisory and managerial skills and experience and the ability to motivate others
• Responsible, a team player, and flexible
• Willingness to perform all job duties with enthusiasm and a positive outlook
• CPR certification and First Aid training must be completed prior to the start of summer

Additional Information:
We are looking an individual who is available to work all camp weeks at our Galloway site. June 20 – Sept 2, 2022
