Athletic Director
The Police Activities League of Atlantic County is looking for an Athletic Director with managerial experience, a sharp business mind, the ability to maintain work efficiency and the desire to grow as he or she helps us grow.

The primary responsibility of our Athletic Director will be to oversee all aspects of our athletic programs and our new turf arena. This includes the hiring of staff and coaches, ordering equipment needed for programs, promoting the arena, our programs and special events. Our Athletic Director must be skilled in budgeting and allocating funds, and facilitating operations. Our Athletic Director will supervise all sports personnel and resolve any administrative issues. In addition to scheduling games and events, our Athletic Director will collaborate with the coaching staff on scheduling games and practices throughout the year. 

Skills and Abilities:

To be fully prepared for the job as our Athletic Director, the successful candidate must have excellent skills in planning, organization, leadership and interpersonal skills. Our Athletic Director needs to have some background in legal terminology and public relations as well. Our Athletic Director will report directly to the Police Activities League of Atlantic County’s Executive Director. 

 

Educational Requirements and Salary Expectations:

A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, business or related fields

Salary will vary based on education and experience between $50,000 to $82,000 annually.

SUMMER CAMP Head Counselors
The Egg Harbor Township Police Activities League (EHT PAL) is now accepting applications for full time Summer Camp Head Counselors (must be 18+) for our Summer Camp in EHT and Galloway. Head Counselors and Junior Counselors will work as a team to provide a safe, fun camp experience for all children. The ideal candidate will:

• Have a fun, energetic yet mature personality
• Have a desire to work with children in preschool through 9th grade
• Have good communication & organizational skills
• Have reliable transportation & a strong work ethic
• Be available to attend employee training (typically on a weekend or evening)
• Complete 10 hrs. State required training on line and be fingerprinted
• Must be available from now through Sept 2nd, 2022
